Mixed Signals in Texting: Compare the Message With the Pattern

Write down the two observations: “They say they want to see me” and “They have not answered two invitations.” That is easier to address than a general claim that their energy is wrong.

Look across multiple exchanges. One change of plan or a quiet day can be ordinary life; recurrence makes the question more concrete.

Fictional chat: you ask “Saturday afternoon?” and get “You know I miss you.” It is affectionate, but the date still needs an answer.

Follow up with the practical question if you want clarity. A direct yes, no, or alternative date is different from another warm message that leaves the decision open.
