This policy applies to our website, APIs, checkout flow, and report experience. By using Textopsy, you consent to the practices in this policy to the extent permitted by law.

We may collect the following categories of data:

• Uploaded chat exports (for analysis).
• Generated report output (scores, flags, roasts, metadata).
• Technical and usage telemetry (route, event, request/session IDs, timestamps).
• Payment metadata (Stripe session IDs, status, currency, amount).
• Device/network metadata that may be provided by infrastructure (IP-derived country, user agent, request headers).

We do not intentionally collect special category data, and you should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive personal information.

• To parse chats and generate your report.
• To process and verify payments.
• To provide report retrieval and sharing features.
• To monitor reliability, abuse, fraud, and security issues.
• To improve models, prompts, and product performance.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Uploaded chats may be stored temporarily in encrypted form to complete processing and payment-gated generation. We use encryption controls intended to protect data in transit and at rest.

We attempt to remove raw uploaded chat payloads after successful report generation, and we may also remove them when sessions expire or fail. We do not guarantee immediate or error-free deletion in every circumstance.

Final report data and related metadata may be retained for product operation, analytics, legal compliance, and fraud prevention. Retention windows may change over time.

Report URLs may be shareable. Anyone with the link may be able to view report content. You are responsible for how and where you share links or screenshots.

We are not responsible for third-party reposting, scraping, or onward distribution once content is shared by you or others.

We may use third-party providers, including:

• Infrastructure/hosting providers.
• Database/storage providers.
• Payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
• AI model providers used to generate outputs.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices where applicable.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission, storage, or processing is 100% secure. You use the service at your own risk.

Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of certain data. To submit a request, email contact@textopsy.com.

We may need to verify your identity and may decline requests where legally permitted (for example, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or disproportionate technical burden).

Textopsy is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use paid features.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. You consent to these transfers, subject to applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates become effective when posted. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
